The sport of powered paragliding is due for an update. Most of the designs out there are copies of outdated equipment. Of the few new models that have come to market over the last 5 years- very few focus on safety, quality and undergo constant improvements. Halo Paramotors is a company set to launch in 2013 that is bringing the first “fourth generation paramotor” to market. They are building a brand new design from the ground up with the goal in mind of a sexy, safe and over all bad ass design that will set a new standard in the industry. Halo Paramotors will be releasing more information as the launch date gets closer. They are expecting to open the doors to pre-order in the fourth quarter, 2012.

The term crumple zone has been used quite a bit of recent years in the sport of powered paragliding, mainly by one company. Halo has said there unit will feature a reinforced crumple zone and will actually have controlled testing performed to show the level of safety provided by the design.

Halo Paramotors will be manufactured in the USA, although a specific location is not known at this time.
